Reviewing Hull City Council in partnership with Tpas
Emma established a clear time frame for delivery. This ensured the accreditation kept on track.
Emma was flexible with her time and fitted in her support at times best suited to both officers and our volunteers
On speaking to both colleagues and volunteers following the discussion groups, all have complimented Emma’s style of delivery. Emma ensured they had direction but were also an enjoyable experience.
Having an independent expert review our delivery, will enable us to continue to develop and future proof our engagement.
Thank you

Tenant Experience, Influence and Support Manager

Emma worked for National Housing Federation from September 2019 to November 2020.

Emma was a fantastic External Affairs Manager for the NHF in the East of England and I have no hesitation in recommending her. She is brilliant at forging strong relationships with customers, demonstrating enviable insight and knowledge of the social housing sector alongside finely tuned people skills. She combines strategic nous with operational can do, which she deployed effectively for the NHF in leading our member engagement around the launch and national roll out of the Together with Tenants initiative. She is a pleasure to work with and always goes the extra mile to support colleagues.

Head of Member Relations

Emma worked for Tpas National Consultancy Manager from November 2011 to September 2019.
Tpas is a membership organisation that offers commercial services in the social housing sector predominately in the fields of tenant and community engagement.
Emma’s role was a high profile, fast paced and demanding role and it was one that Emma excelled in.
Emma’s key strengths are tenacity, hard work ethic, commercial acumen, creativity and tender winning expertise. The role had stretching and challenging financial targets which Emma always strove to achieve and often exceed. She was comfortable working as part of a team or alone and could be counted on to provide support, advice and challenge to her colleagues.
A key aspect of the role was to manage self-employed associates on client projects. Emma was adept at managing these relationships and was responsible for inducting many new associates to our work
The role of Consultancy Manager involved managing multiple projects of different size, income, geography and complexity across England. Emma confidently grew the portfolio of projects in the Southern region across a range of topics such as accreditation, scrutiny, community development, contractor engagement and regeneration.
Emma also worked on, and led with, many projects and research initiatives with stakeholder organisations across the sector including the Local Government Association.
Emma would be a valuable asset to any organisation she joined and I wish her all the very best.
